Christmas Pockets.
Posted by Michelle on November 29th, 2011 . Filed under: Christmas, Gift Packaging, It's in the Bag!, Prima .I wasn’t quite happy with the Christmas pockets I made a couple of weeks ago, so I tried my hand at them again this past weekend. I am much happier with these ones as they are more my style.
I made a set of these to give to our next-door neighbor in thanks for the Halloween gift bags she gave to the kids. Yes, I am that far behind on thank-yous.
I took bags from my shoppe, covered them with a 6×6 piece of patterned paper (more Prima that I don’t particularly care for), folded up the bottom and stitched it, brushed paint all around the edges, punched and adhered a border strip, stamped and adhered a doily sentiment, and then finished it with a piece of chipboard.

I love these bags. I like the vintage feel with the doily and the painted edge.
