4th of July banner.
Posted by Michelle on July 3rd, 2012 . Filed under: Design Team Work, Glue Dots, May Arts, October Afternoon, Patriotic .I get a lot of crafty work done when we go camping. I’m totally not a nature girl, so when the husband and kids go off on their hikes and geocaching, I stay in the comfort of our air-conditioned trailer and get crafty. I always take a bunch of Glue Dots rollers with me, and my Big Shot, and plan on doing a lot of diecutting and assembling to pass the time.
This banner I made for the 4th of July isn’t terribly ornate or spectacular in any way, but it’s an easy handmade decoration. Kinda takes a while to do all the diecutting and then all the threading on the ribbon. Beats being out and getting bit by mosquitoes though 😉
It’s not a bright red, white, and blue, but I like the country wild west thing with the red and blue from October Afternoon’s Sasparilla collection; I think it works just fine for the 4th!

Love the banner! It does take a lot of time to do all the work. But worth it in the end.
