Up today is a fun little Christmas packaging idea I made for Michelle’s Scrapbooking & More.
I’m big on the cheap. So whenever I order something online – which is where I do 75% of my shopping – I opt for the gift wrapping service if it’s free. The idea of “gift wrapping” varies from company to company, but since it’s free, why not see what you can get out of it. I recently placed an order with Origins. They had a hot deal where you get a free set of something, plus a free sample, plus a free tote bag, and free shipping with any order. And then I clicked the gift wrap box since it was free. So for $9.50 I got a bunch of stuff delivered to my house. The cool thing was that their gift wrapping was this great green box. Good and sturdy with the top/lid that comes off, really pretty in color and full of that great brown crinkle/shredded paper.
And here’s what I did with it….:
Little Yellow Bicycle has this great little Christmas pack with shaped patterned papers – I just used one whole piece showing off the cute present shape and all it’s pretty ornament embossing. I also use some more of that yummy Bazzill tulle in Petunia. Tulle is a new thing for me and I’m really like it! And last but not least: those pretty vintagey and sugary Prima Love Letter roses; heaven! I can’t wait to put this under the Christmas tree for my little girl!
Who wants candy? Miss Michelle has got some gifty goodness up for grabs this month: a great Marvy button punch, a store gift certificate, or maybe even a mystery prize pack. I would opt for the mystery prize pack because it’s just so exciting to get a package and not know what’s going to be in it! Click HERE for all the deets.

no lie… I ordered some shoes from Piperlime.com and even their packaging & tissue paper was awesome…just general packaging, no special gift…their business card was pretty big (palm size) and came in this fabulous green cardboard pocket…I saved it for scrapping of course!
