Winter wishes.

This has been a doozy of a week. And there’s still 2 more days left – serenity now!
Started the week off sick, but got on antibiotics and felt good enough to go to the company party at the Botanical Gardens. Took my mom and my aunt – not doing that again. Seriously, is there not an age where your parents stop embarrassing you? Santa was there. My daughter asked why he was so skinny. I told her because he doesn’t get fat until Christmas when he’s eating all the cookies and milk the kiddies leave for him 😉
Then yesterday I woke up completely miserable and called in sick. The phone rang at like 5am and again at 6:30 – it was the school: snow day! So the kids were off school…because it looked like this outside….:
I don’t think we’ll be barbecuing any time soon.
And a couple of cards that just seemed appropriate to share today.

Jealous on your school snow day, though. We NEVER get those here. We’ve had one in the last 11 years.

WOW! I remember those days, but it seems so long ago! We’ve been snow free for almost 7 years now. I really want to take the kids to see snow sometime though. Your cards are GORGEOUS! I hope you feel better soon! Sending lots of get well wishes and hugs:)

Love your cards! and of course the Santa pictures! Glad you are feeling better….I know the snow is nothing new for you guys, but it is really beautiful! I so wish we had snow like that!

We have snow……..but, not THAT much snow!! Lovely cards again, Michelle. I just love those leaves in your bottom card, but I am definitely partial to some bling-bling…….lol

Whoa, that’s a LOT of snow!!! Hope you’re feeling better. Love the fabric flower and blingy leaves on your 2nd card! Oh and parents live to embarrass their kids (as I’m sure you will yours, LOL).

I love how the vintage-type lace in the first one appears to be “snowing.” Simply glorious!
