April 1st.
Posted by Michelle on April 1st, 2009 . Filed under: Uncategorized .April is here and today is a big day for the Pez-A-Doodle DT.
April 1 means new releases, projects, and contests – – even one here on my blog for today only.
Since – as Miss Molly is quick to point out – *I don’t color images* >gasp<...my area of focus is working with the Studio G stamps which have some images, but tons of sentiments. But hey - lookie here: I did something with an image! *giggles* OK, so it's not really coloring, but at least it's not a sentiment - heh.
Miss Marti has Studio G Challenge 5 goin’ which is Easter treat holders – I had one on yesterday’s post too. So I made another one. This one was going to be for Rob, but I couldn’t find my glue gun – er, he couldn’t find where he put my glue gun – so I couldn’t put this blue ribbon on it that I had chosen, so I went the pink & white route and I guess it’s gonna have to be for one of my girlfriends.
I am lovin’ my new Nesties – here is another set: the Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Squares. I cut some Doodlebug DP for my busy background paper, then did some Papertrey Ink Raspberry Fizz for my image piece and then I stamped my little Studio G bunny on it in Fresh Snow ink – also from PTI. The bunny is from the holiday pack that I featured yesterday and can be found HERE. But guess what -we’re on to Series 30 which can be ordered now but really cool people like me already have all 24 pieces of Series 30 goodness so I’ll be teasing you with that soon – neener neener neener.
What color eyes do bunnies have anyway? I stuck a little blue Kaisercraft bling on there – there is an identical image panel on each side of the box, and then I glued a little pink pom pom for the bunny tail – isn’t that cute? What do you think of the box? This cute little acetate box is the perfect size – it’s not so tiny that you can’t think of anything to put in it, and it’s not so big where you are challenged with filling it. You get 5 of these boxes from Pez-A-Doodle for only $3.60 – what a deal!
Well this thing was so fun to make that I want YOU to make one. So here’s the thing – leave me a comment on this post, and tomorrow morning I will announce the winner. What I will mail out to you tomorrow – so that you can get this made before Easter – is (1) of these acetate boxes, (2) packs of Studio G Easter stamps (including the one with the bunny)….and….some other goodies to embellish your box with. How does that sound?
Hope no one pulls one over on ya’ on April Fool’s Day, girls!

…are you also going to send the CHOCOLATES to fill the box with??? BWAHAHAHA…in fact…if I win, just send the chocolates. *LOL* Juuuust kidding, being DT related officially disqualifies me 🙁 But I LOOOOOOVE this treat box! It’s gorgeous and look at that IMAGE!!! I’ve seen bunnie’s with blue eyes…and evil red ones! Okay, I lost track of where I was going with this comment!
Officially…WELCOME to the first day of your DT membership, we are SOOOO happy to have you on board!!!

These are so cute! I might just give this a try for the little ones at Easter.
I heard on the radio today of a mother who sent her kids to school with oreos but replaced the cream with toothpaste!! How cruel.. yet so funny!!

Talk about getting me to think “outside” the box, maybe, inside out???
Congrats on your success. (no foolin…)

These are adorable, and much more up my alley. Of course, I haven’t gotten to that alley yet. Although I have a woman who wants to pay me to organize her craft room, so that might get me going.
