Last night I was out coupon shopping and there was a little spell of freezing rain – loved it! And then later that night I was complaining to my husband about how cold it was in the house and that I needed another blanket. He made fun of me and told me it wasn’t that cold! I woke up this morning to that burning dust smell: HE was freezing in the middle of the night and got up to put on the heater for the first time of the season. Oh yeah, fall is here!
The 1st of the month also means that next month’s CARDS magazine is available for viewing online. It’s a $19.95 magazine in the stores (but my LSS has it for 40% off every month which is really cool) but for only $4.99 you can check it out online which is super cost-effective, and, you get to have a looksie before it hits the stores.
I am tickled pink to be in the November issue. The 1st of the month you can see the next month’s issue which won’t be in stores for at least 3 weeks. I have 4 cards in this month and the first 2 I am super proud of because they got their own 2-page spread. The layout of the magazine is your card and your name and all the card deets are on one page. But at the beginning of each section there is one card that is card on one page in all its glory and deets on the facing page.

4 cards….2 with their very own 2-page spread!!!! You should be happy. That is awesome. It's freezing here, too. I don't mind the cold too much, but when you throw in snow, then I get cranky! Enjoy your first day of October.

I don't think I even remember cold. Last weekend we were still over 100 degrees!
