Paper Temptress Anniversary ~ Treasure Hunt!

Hello and thank you for stopping in along the Paper Temptress one-year anniversary Treasure Hunt. Each design team members’ blog along the way has a letter that you need to put together a word. My letter is perfect for me, it’s a little out there and a little non-conformist for I have the….
! – – yes, that’s an exclamation point – LOL
For all the contest details and where you can go back to and get in on the Hunt, head on over the the Paper Temptress Blog.
My card today features papers from Paper Temptress: kraft cardstock, Green Crepe Ruche, and White Felt Grandee. The Ruche makes the most gorgeous rustic natural really out-in-the-forest kinda Christmas tree! And the thickness and texture in the Grandee makes some amazing snow.
As an aside, I have to tell you, the Paper Temptress design team was my very first design team that I was chosen to be on. It’s been quite the challenge for me because as most of you know, I am big on patterned paper since I don’t color images – so I really need lots of distractions that patterned paper provides. Patricia (the Paper Temptress herself) even asked me one time “then why do you want to be on my design team?” – LOL It’s really been a good time, really stretching me as an “artist” and testing my limits: which is a good thing. Not to mention the fact that she’s got some very unique, affordable, and beautiful papers that you can’t find anywhere else!
So congratulations, Patricia – – and thanks for a great year!

Wow!!! This is really a wonderful card that has so much texture! I wouldn't have thought about using the ruche paper for a tree either but what a great idea. I also really liked some of your other cards shown and realize that pretty papers really can carry an entire card. Thank you!
