Hello and thanks for stopping in along the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.
This month’s Hop is all about solutions for the busyness of the holidays – with “grab ‘n go” gifts.
I find that I am always short on those “little somethings” – for the babysitter, for the friend that comes by to bring a gift and she brings her kid and you want to hand something to the kid too. So a few small “somethings” on hand are what I need to have for this year – and they need to be cheap somethings!
Large Hershey bars were on sale for $1.25 – – I had $1 off coupons making them 25-cents each. I had 5 coupons = 5 bars for a total of $1.25 *cheers* I wrapped my chocolate bar in Rustic Snowflakes patterned paper, and then embellished. Embellishing is key to kicking everything up a notch! I tied some Fresh Snow classic grosgrain ribbon around it, tied on a K&Company glittered snowflake that I got at Michael’s after-Christmas clearance last year, then topped that with some vintage buttons and a little sentiment from the Holiday Button Bits set and I was done.
25-cents and something that took me less than 20 minutes to make – mission accomplished!
See you on the Hop!
