Sympathy cards – day 1 of 3.

I had to come back with something non-Christmas. Blech – Christmas. So. Over. It. So I’m movin’ on to sympathy cards. Yeah. I totally hate making these cards…it’s such a delicate occasion, and with my style, I’m afraid of making it too happy. So I had to temper myself…every time I felt the need to add something fun or bright I had to keep saying “simma down, girl” – LOL
Anywho – so these cards today are mostly Papertrey Ink cards with some Prima embellies, Martha bling, and some A Million Memories lace trim. I love this sentiment too – the size and the fonts. That’s from Communique Curves Sentiments – a super value at only $5 for the set.
I made these cards for a little bartering I did with Heather’s mom. But you know, top of the year might be a good time to get a couple of sympathy cards done and in your stash so that you have them ready if and when you need them next year.
I’m back to work today; blech – work.

My mom will love them. Very tasteful, but not too happy. 😀
Didn't think about the creative difficulty you might have w/these, but they're great.

Dude… this is such a great idea… I need to sit down and make a hanful of these. Hopefully I won't have to send them out, but they'll be handy if I do. Love the butterflies…love. them.

These are beautiful, Michelle! Sympathy cards really are hard to make, but these are perfect. I especially love the second one with the green and brown~fab color combo and those butterflies are so cool.

These are definitely going in my sympathy inspiration folder. Great cards. Glad you'll have some in your stash, hope you won't need them.
