More fun with new Hero Arts.

Hero Arts stamps are pretty new for me. Now that they’ve got so many acrylic stamp sets out, I can’t help but be drawn to something.

How cool is this “bring on the cake” stamp?! I had to have that one. Forget the presents, I’m all about the birthday cake! My favorite birthday cake was from a little place in Antioch, California called Berry’s Pastries. They made a chocolate cake with a filling of whipped cream and banana slices – with a whipped cream frosting. My mom used to order that for me every year – yum!

This is a square card, I think I went 4×4 on this one, and it’s got a base of Rustic Cream cardstock with patterned papers & chipboard by BasicGrey. I’ve got a line of Heidi Swapp bling on here, a Jenni Bowlin bingo card, some lace trim from A Million Memories, my balloons were made with a Martha Stewart punch that I picked up at Michael’s a long time ago and of coursed I’ve finished off with some buttons.

This fun BFF card starts with another new Hero Arts stamp and has a base of Spring Moss with matching ribbon, Pink Paislee paper, diecut, brads & glittered chipboard letters, another Jenni Bowlin bingo card, and some black Prima bling.

Busy day today – this morning we’re taking the kids to the cheapee theater to see Where the Wild Things are ($16 for the 4 of us includes a drink and candy/popcorn for each!). And then my mom’s coming over for Christmas dinner tonight. She went to see my brother in California before Christmas, and then we went to Phoenix after Christmas and things got busy and we haven’t had time to catch-up and celebrate Christmas with her.

Enjoy your Saturday!

I love how you use color… it always makes me happy. 🙂 And BG & PP are my two fave paper companies so I'm all kinds of happy w/your cards today. 🙂 I don't own may sentiment stamps by HA… but they're wearing me down…lol! Love what you did w/the balloons, too! Cuteness all over!

Have a great time at the movies and a wonderful belated Christmas celebration.
