More thank-you cards.
Posted by Michelle on April 1st, 2010 . Filed under: Uncategorized .It’s Thursday and we’re on the road to Portland, Oregon. We’re taking a big vacation this summer so we aren’t doing anything extravagant for Spring Break, but thought a little trip to Oregon would be nice. It’s only a 6-hour drive – piece of cake.
So I’ve got some more thank-you cards today. This first one is similar to yesterday’s cards with the Prima papers & chipboard and Verve sentiment. I’ve got a little Studio G Glitter Glue in the center of my rose too.
I really like this second card because I’ve used my least favorite Papertrey Ink cardstock color: Melon Berry. I find it to be a little drab and just really hard to match. But I was able to work it with some Pink Paislee patterned papers, Prima chipboard, and coordinating Melon Berry ribbon – and I do like the final product.
What about you – doing anything fun this week?

I really love your first card, the vintage feel is so warming! GREAT ribbon!
I don't think I own the Melon Berry colour but do own some buttons. I am not sure I've used them before though…lol
Hope you guys have a fantastic time on your get away! Drive safe! You're right 6 hours is easy peasy 😉 Plus your kids travel so well!

Hum, you know I've never had any Berry Melon. I do love what you did with it! It doesn't look drab in the least! Fab work as always!

All your cards yesterday and today are definitely you – love 'em! You work wonders w/paper, even if you think it's drab. 😀
