Happy Times.
Posted by Michelle on January 30th, 2013 . Filed under: Cards .Happy times. Really? Yeah, not this week! Not even this month actually. Is January almost over? I mentioned here that I got rear-ended by a 16-year old girl….and that my daughter was with me…and that she was all kinds of upset. And now I’m driving a loaner car while my car is in the shop. And then Sunday night we got one of those phone calls…the kind that you never want to get….when you are already in bed asleep… The in-laws were in a car accident in California. Father-in-law is fine. Mother-in-law had leg bones sticking out of her skin. Say what? Gah! Yeah. So she’s in the hospital for a few weeks to a month. And we’re here and they’re there. And my husband is having surgery on his leg next week, so he can’t go there and I know he feels bad about that. And then I’ve mentioned here the cold. This cold is damn crazy. And it’s icy on the roads and our parking lot at the office is an ice rink. An ice rink where I fell and busted my ass on Monday. The bigger they are, the harder they fall – indeed! And I was like crawling on my knees to get off the black ice to get up and kept slipping and this lady was trying to help me and I was sure I was going to bring her little 110-lb. frame down with me. So yeah. Not really happy times around here.
But I do kinda like this simple little card. Hope your week is going better than mine! 🙂

sounds like a run of bad luck, my December was a little like that without the accidents. But we’ll all better now, hopefully you will be soon too!

ugh! So sorry! I hate those runs of bad luck. Hope your MIL heals quickly! Things have been all out of sorts here too. Hoping that February is a little better.

Hey Chica, so sorry to hear about your hard times. I lived in Utah for 5 years and it does seem like everything is just a little crappier when its so snowy. You should come live in Cali! Things will get better. Sending hugs and prayers your way 🙂

Oh Michelle, I am so sorry! Here I was checking in on you as it has been a while for me. I feel so bad for all that your are going through. I pray things get better soon. Your poor in laws.

Oh Michelle that sucks!! Sending prayers to you all!! I am so glad that tomorrow is Feb too! Jan was a month to forget!! I hope your weather improves soon and everyone is mending well!!

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear about their car accident!!! Hope that she has a speedy recovery. I TOTALLY understand that feeling of you’re here and they’re there….always stressful!
