Happy Friday!

Still lovin’ that embossed Coredinations cardstock by Jenni Bowlin. Although it may be overkill on this card – ha – however, that is not permission for you to bash my card – ROTFL I love the butterflies and the pins…oh how I love my pins…and that pretty seam binding….and stitching.
Oh man I have a lot of my favorite things on this card!

So glad Friday is FINALLY here. I was off a day every day this week, on Monday I thought it was Tuesday, on Wednesday I thought it was Thursday, etc. And then this morning I REALLY wanted it to be Saturday, but no. And I have a boatload of things to do this weekend. Get this – I’m making first day of school gifties for the kids’ teachers. Yeah so we went yesterday to see who their teachers are and my son has TWO teachers. One of those classes where the teachers split it. Hi, I already ordered things for 2 teachers and now I have to do something for THREE. Not happy. So the 2 things I have will obviously be for the co-teachers and now I have to figure out something different for my daughter’s teacher. I plan ahead so that I don’t have to be frazzled at the last minute. And here I am: frazzled at the last minute!

TGIF!

Here's hoping it comes together easily for you. What are you doing for the gifts? If it's something for the classroom, you could just add a second gift (for the split teachers) in something that coordinates, so that they don't have repeats, but a "set". Also, (usually) the split classes have one teacher, specifically, for each grade, so if you could find that out, you have the gifts for your kids' actual teachers and just do a little token of appreciation (from your stash) for the "complimentary" teacher. We started school on Aug. 11, and I didn't "make" anything for the teachers, just donated school supplies. Good luck, Chica.

I'm having a so-so morning (just busy this week) and I knew that whatever your card was today, it would put a smile on my face, Michelle! And it did. I love the colors, the papers, the embellishments. But most of all the happy colors. Thanks for a little pick-me-up!
