Never grow up.

I think it’s because of the drugs. I’m awake and chatterly, and then I’m sitting and dozing off. And because I can’t get in to a good, comfortable position when I sleep (because of the knee), good sleep is hard to come by. But yesterday I drifted off in to some good sleep – and then my daughter wakes me up. From some GOOD SLEEP! Gah! It was very important though.
Kayleigh: Mom, mom….mommmmm….
Me: Yes baby?
Kayleigh: My birthday is in 6 days. OK bye. (skips out of my room)
LOL! She woke me up out of the best sleep I’ve had in over a week to remind me that her birthday is in 6 days. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. She’s so cute. And I don’t ever want her to grow up. Even though her birthday is in 6 days and she’ll be in the double digits – the big 10. Yikes.
Here’s a lil’ card I made with some fun pieces from American Crafts. I’m jonesin’ to get back to my craft table. We – the kids and I – actually worked on a craft project together yesterday – them at the dining room table, and me from my bed. It turned out awesome – will share that next week. But for now – have a great day, and cherish those moments because they are gone before you know it!
