Whether you’re a mama, you have a mama, your dear mama has passed, or your sweet bebe has passed – today is a day of celebration!
I put together some happy mail to send out to some mamas I know. As I’ve mentioned before, sending happy mail doesn’t have to cost a fortune. For these gifts I stocked up on pretty pastel chocolates on clearance after Easter. The packages were lightweight and yummy, and on the cheap.
I bought these gorrrrrgeous tassels on Amazon a few months ago and have been hoarding them. There just didn’t seem an occasion special enough to use them for. But Mother’s Day? Gold! Literally.
You can buy these tassels HERE, they are $9.55 for 45 of them, and shipping is free from China (so they do take some extra time to arrive). 21-cents each? A fantastic deal! I just ordered another batch because I can’t stop looking at them. Gah! Super pretty.
I bought these pretty flower paper sacks at Daiso when I was in California last month. If you have not been to a Daiso, you are missing out. It’s like a Japanese dollar store, but everything is $1.50. A package of 10 bags was $1.50 which is a fantastic deal. I also bought a smaller set of 35 for $1.50 – but they were too small for all the candy.
I stamped a Verve Mother’s Day sentiment in gold on paper doilies.
I rubbed white tags on my gold ink pad for a bit of extra detail. And then assembled it all.
