Their papers and embellishments always remind me of old books and stories I read when I was a little girl. Like The Boxcar Children – anyone remember that series? I bought some of them for my son. And my in-laws just gave him a Hardy Boys collection for Christmas. Fun stuff. Love that old book smell – I can smell it and feel it when I am flipping through my October Afternoon paper packs. October Afternoon really takes me back to a very special place.

These are so fun! I loved Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys! My grandma kept all of my dad’s and his sister’s books from when they were little and I used to read them:) Awesome vintage projects, girlie:)
