Happy Birthday, brother.

How’s your week goin’?  I’m all kinds of confused about what day it is.  Thinking I have one more day when I really lost a day.  Not that I’m complaining about a holiday off work or anything  😉  On top of that confusion, my husband sends me this message today:  Which reminds me.  I tried to record The X Factor and it wanted me to cancel either Big Brother or The Voice.  All 3 are on at the same time.  Now what?  Now what is right!  I love me some Voice.  But I want to watch X Factor to see if Britney has shaken off the crazy.  And I kinda have a crush on Simon Cowell too.  And Big Brother – it’s getting really good now, can’t miss that.  Maybe we go to a bar with a big screen TV and all the different channels?  Or do they only do that for sports and not reality TV?  LOL!  See – my head is going to explode from all the thinking I have to do.

So how about a card?  I made this for my brother whose birthday is in November.  And then when uncle Joe came up and we did his birthday party, I gave this to my mom to give to him.  So I reckon I’ll be making another one for my brother soon.  My style has been kinda here and there lately.  Some CAS.  Some collagey.  I don’t care, I just make what I feel – never been one to follow rules – heh.

Now this is a guy card! You can’t go wrong with brown and stripes for a guy. Not sure why! I say we mix up our styles to whatever suits us. I only like a few shows on TV so guess I’m lucky. How is your uncle? Did he get lots of cards?

What a neat card, Michelle! So masculine, but with a little bit of glitz for celebration. 🙂 I hope your Uncle Joe had a very special birthday. He has been in my prayers and will continue to be.

Your husband’s message cracked me up because I *hate* running into that situation! The TV networks need to check with us to make sure that there are not three shows we need to DVR on at the same time, and when they don’t, it’s okay to get a little upset, LOL! My solution so far has been to ask my dad to tape for me on *his* DVR, but one of these days he’s going to be taping two shows already and then what am I going to do? 😀

P.S. I am a (big) Big Brother fan too!

Awesome masculine card Michelle. Love the colors and that banner.
I think you need a new TV with your very own TiVo. I don’t watch any of those shows, but sometimes I want to tape 3 different programs… I guess you could try to watch it on the Internet. :o)
