Merry Christmas.

Today I’m sharing a Christmas card made with the same Echo Park patterned paper that I used on the kids’ gift tags I posted yesterday.  I made all my own Christmas cards this year which was a complete and total pain in the a…. labor of love.  Mass producing is and isn’t my thing.  I do it often, but it gets soooo boring after a while.  So I decided to make 2 of each design.  And I kept them super simple.  A couple were so simple that upon further review I have deemed them downright ugly and unsuitable for the blog.  Yeah.  THAT bad.  So if you see any of my Christmas cards in the coming days and think those are bad, I’m here to tell you, I done made worse – LOL

All my Christmas cards were made on the same card base – these 5×5 scalloped card bases from DCWV. I got them free with some credit from a magazine incentive. I loved that they had the scallops, and the glitter lines which added extra dimension and interest without ME having to do anything. The card bases themselves are a bit too flimsy and cheap for my liking, however, I adhered a piece of patterned paper to the inside, and then the stuff on the front, and they are more weighty and more to my liking now.
